Caroline Myss

PB AUD26.95

Firstly, I need to declare that I am a great fan of Caroline Myss's work. Her wisdom and practical delivery has helped shift my experience in the world many times over the years.

At the beginning of the book she writes that this is not an ordinary book on healing and that it does not proceed on the assumption that all illness is rooted in the mystery of wounds. This is a premise that Caroline has been moving away from over the past years and especially since she began her journey with Teresa of Avila and her own book titled "Entering the Castle."

In her introduction she tells how the paper thin wall between health and illness, life and death, those that heal and those that don't was a wall she had avoided until she began to experience people healing during "Entering the Castle" workshops. As she was researching she experienced her own health crisis and so was able to live into her work and heal outside the rational and reason that the mind and contemporary life professes to be the way forward.

In the opening chapter Caroline explains the foundation of healing in this age of energy. She also shares her first experience of leading a group of 800 into prayer rather than meditation. Caroline describes the experience and the shift of energy in the room, into a unified field of grace. My own experience reading the words was a feeling of deep peace and gratitude. This chapter also expands on the meaning of gravity and links our reasoning mind and the symbolic weight of thoughts to 'gravity anchors.' These anchors translate into behaviours and situations not supportive of our soul and the inner peace it is always working towards.

She than takes you through the five truths required to defy gravity and live from your mystic or higher self. Where appropriate Caroline introduces stories from either her own life or from workshop participants to illustrate a point. These stories add another dimension to the reading experience - for me that was to be in a field of grace as I read the pages.

In closing, Caroline lists seven actions to take as you move to defy gravity. All of them have been well explained in the earlier chapters and all of them, whilst not appearing to be 'difficult' to do, are powerful shifts in energy management and the creation of your own field of grace.

Author Profile -Caroline Myss has been in the field of energy medicine and human consciousness for 20 years. Since 1982, she has worked, as a medicial intuitive, providing individuals with an evaluation of the health of their energetic anatomy system. She founded the CMED institute (Caroline Myss Education) dedicated to presenting extended study programs on her work. She lectures internationally, having taught in more than 25 countries.
