The Vortex
Esther and Jerry Hicks
PB AUD26.95

|
|
This latest work from Esther and
Jerry Hicks and the non-physical entities Abraham
challenges all our ideas about relationships,
including the relationship we each have with ourselves.
Or in the words of Abraham, the 'who you really
are'.
At the core of the teachings outlined
is the concept that the basis of life is freedom;
the result of life is expansion and the purpose
of life is joy. The first section is an overview
of how and why our natural state is to be joyful
or in their words in the vortex. Each of us is
born with a personal guidance system to help us
know when we are diverging from our prebirth understanding
of life and when we are on track.
That guidance system is our
emotional feeling state. As the book unfolds every
possible type of relationship is covered starting
with our birth family. As they move along they
highlight 22 flawed premises we have in our consciousness.
An example: "If I push hard enough against
unwanted things, they will go away". Each
page has a pearl of wisdom, which the deepest
part of you will go 'Yes!'

Get the Life You Want
Richard Bandler
PB AUD30.00

|
|
Richard Bandler is the co-creator
of Neuro Linguistic Programming or NLP. It is
a field he has been working in for over 40 years
and in his introduction he gives thanks to both
his teachers and his clients that allowed him
to teach what he found in his research. An example
he gives is how he would look at how over 100
people had overcome their fears and what techniques
were common to their successes, distil the techniques
and continue to refine and improve.
The book is divided into three
sections: Getting Over it; Getting through it;
Getting to it. Simple and practical exercises
accompany each stage. As an additional resource
there is a CD enclosed with the key secrets Richard
Bandler has seen will ensure quick and lasting
life change.

The Five Literacies of
Global Leadership
Richard David Hames
HC AUD89.95

|
|
It will come as no surprise to many
that the current leadership paradigm is a self-perpetuating
mess of flawed models and practices. In the past
years Richard Hames has worked with many exceptional
leaders across the globe. He has observed their
common cognitive and behavioural traits within
contexts that are constantly shifting and full
of surprises.
Through this observation he has
deciphered a universal code based on intelligence,
appreciation and collaboration. From this code
comes Five Literacies Leadership. Operating within
the five literacies these leaders respond to the
pressures of globalisation in work and life by
persistent searching for new knowledge, deeper
relationships and alternative perspectives. They
embrace difference with an open heart and mind
and they accept that change is their only certainty.
Driven by dialogue and imbuing
others with their own positive energy they enable
better futures for humanity. Whilst at times this
book is heavy going, the messages are one of hope
and offer a vision of leadership for the 21st
century.
