Baby Bliss - Yoga and
Massage
Zoe Mongey
DVD AUD29.95

|
|
As a mother of four and a teacher
of baby yoga for many years Zoe has found that
yoga helped her children as much as her to thrive.
Baby yoga is a particularly beautiful
way to bond and spend time with a young baby and
can be started as young as newborn.
The benefits of Baby yoga are endless
and it is great for parents, grandparents and
carers alike. With stimulating eye contact baby
yoga helps nurture a greater responsiveness and
deeper bonding between carer and baby, whilst
on a physiological level it is stimulating all
the systems within the baby's body simultaneously.
The digestive system is stimulated
to relive colic and wind, the respiratory system
is stimulated to aid lung development and breathing,
muscles and joints are mobilized to activate and
strengthen the baby's muscles and tissues and
by relaxing the baby a more quality sleep can
be achieved.
All of this helps to establish a
healthy foundation for your baby's body and mind
but Baby yoga also helps the parent or carer to
feel more confident and involved with the child.

Music of Grace: Amazing Grace
Various
CD AUD29.95

|
|
This compilation features the #1 hymn of all time
- "Amazing Grace". It includes 14 intimate,
tender, and comforting performances of the hymn
by top solo artists, ensembles, and choirs.
The hymn 'Amazing Grace' is one
of the best loved and most recorded songs in history.
The story behind the lyrics is well-known: English
slave trader John Newton, after nearly losing
his life in a violent storm at sea, had a profound
change of heart and eventually became a prolific
writer of hymns - including `Amazing Grace' -
and a passionate abolitionist.
The source of the melody is much
less certain but appears to have come from Ireland
or Scotland and was originally called `New Britain'.
The Scots have certainly made it their own through
countless stirring performances on bagpipes.
Throughout the world, the piece
is cherished and is sung in a vast array of styles,
most notably Gospel, Country, Folk, and Celtic.
'Amazing Grace' is an expression of deep personal
gratitude that has an extraordinary power to touch
the heart, uplift the spirit, and transcend sectarian
divisions as few other pieces have ever done.
This compilation brings together
14 intimate, tender, and comforting performances
of `Amazing Grace' - 7 vocal and 7 instrumental
- by top artists, ensembles, and choirs.

Buddha Bar XII
Ravin
CD's AUD49.95

|
|
The Buddha Bar success story goes
on ! After 11 volumes already, Buddha bar DJs
kept on travelling the world searching for the
next hit, the next artist that deserves to be
called one, pushing their limits making us dream
and travel. This time, Ravin takes over the decks
again and offers a playlist to die for with this
12th opus taking us back where it all started
: Paris!
He spreads his wings again and signs one of his
most delightful selection celebrating love "à
la française", for a romantic escape
through Old Paris. Buddha-Bar XII opens a door
into a pink-tinted universe entwined with dreams
and reality.
In this new compilation, DJ Ravin
extracts the essence of Parisian charms and enchants
it with avant-garde and spicy elements. A first
CD - entitled "La vie en Rose" - compiles
tracks imbued with sensuality including a kitsch
remix of "La vie en rose". A second
CD, "Pink me Up", highlights an electronic
music selection skillfully embellished with acoustic
and live ethnic sounds like "Adela"
from Dexi or "Carnivale" from Jason
Rivas.
