Courageous Dreaming
Alberto Villoldo
PB AUD26.95

|
|
Modern physics
teaches us that we're all dreaming the world into
being with every thought. The ancient shamans
of the America's understood that we're not only
creating our experience of the world, but are
dreaming up the very nature of reality - that
is, life itself is 'but a dream.'
When we don't dream our existence,
we have to settle for the nightmare others are
conceiving. This book tells you how to wake up
from the collective nightmare and begin to fashion
a life of courage and grace, a sacred dream that
shamans throughout time have known and served.
Within the pages Alberto Villoldo reveals ancient
wisdom teachings that explain how to birth reality
from the invisible matrix of creation; and how
you can interact with this matrix to dream a life
of peace, health and abundance. You'll find that
courage is all that's required to create the joy
you desire.
Alberto is the author of numerous
books and has studied the spiritual practices
of the Amazon and the Andes for more than 25 years.

Not all Those that Wander
are Lost
1 Giant Leap
DVD AUD29.95

|
|
In 2002 Jamie
Catto and Duncan Bridgeman began recording an
album and audio-visual DVD for palm Pictures.
It was no ordinary project- for the goal was to
fuse spoken word, musicians, sounds, rhythms and
images from all around the world. They wanted
to show that despite our surface level differences
the things that divide us are far outnumbered
by the humanity, which unites us.
Each track explores
a theme such as the masks we wear and the perils
of forgetting we're wearing them.
Instead of arranging soundbites
in their studio they traveled the world with a
32 track-recording studio so they were able to
capture performances in the artist's home environment.
The DVD was a new genre whereby
they fused the music collaborations with spoken
work from interviews and other footage shots and
created 12 short films.
The final result is like a music-based time capsule
of planet earth, which includes the most tuned-in
artists, thinkers and images of the moment.

Birth Without Violence
Frederick Leboyer
DVD AUD30.00

|
|
The three films
in this DVD were released in the 1970's. They
take you into the heart of the mystery of what
it means to be born and how fully conscious and
exquisitely sensitive babies are from the start.
Frederick Leboyer, physician, poet
and philosopher, pays homage to both the ancient
feminine wisdom and the crucial law of the mother-infant
relationship in the shaping of our life and culture.
Apart from a short introduction
there is no commentary or voice-over. Leboyer's
view is that talking is an expression of the mind
thinking and that thinking is no more than an
illusion. He recommends you to stop thinking while
you watch, stop talking and quiet your mind and
be pure attention.
