Meeting Fairies

Wednesday 18th November 2009

Maggie HamiltonOver forty years ago Robert Ogilvie Crombie (Roc), a friend of the
fledgling Findhorn, found himself in Edinburgh Botanical Gardens where,
to his great surprise, he had his first experience of nature spirits.

This was the beginning of many profound encounters, which Roc wrote of. Like many of his era, he has the rare ability to perfectly capture each incident.

Designed to look like an old fairytale book, Meeting the Fairies is the first compilation of Roc's precious encounters with the fairy realm.

Maggie is a writer, teacher and publisher. She gives regular talks, lectures and workshops throughout Australia and New Zealand; writes for magazines; and is a keen observer of social trends. She has a Masters in English Literature, a passion for the art of living meaningfully, and is a regular media commentator.

The Child Within the LotusMeeting Fairies - R. Ogilvie Crombie HC 29.95

Over forty years ago Robert Ogilvie Crombie, or ROC as he was
affectionately known, visited the fledgling Findhorn, and was greatly
impressed with what he discovered there. Already well into his seventies, he was to become a close friend of Dorothy, and Peter and Eileen Caddy.

Around this time he found himself in Edinburgh Botanical Gardens where, to his great surprise, he found himself looking at a faun. This was the
beginning of many profound encounters with the nature spirits.

ROC's detailed accounts of these experiences have now come to light, and
will be published as Meeting the Fairies in November 2009.
